Joost van den Bosch
Joost van den Bosch is global responsible for Extended Offer development. As such he is driving the development and implementation of existing or new offers that are organised around Volvo Cars. Currently one of the projects he is responsible for is the role out of Volvo's telematics product, Volvo On Call. This innovative product is currently marketed in eight European markets and the service is already supported in 14 markets.

Scott McCormick
President, Connected Vehicle Trade Association
Scott has degrees in Mathematics, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, minors in Theoretical Physics, Business Law and Psychology, a Masters in Business Administration and Doctoral Research in Artificial Intelligence. Prior to being the President of the Connected Vehicle Trade Association, Scott was the Executive Director of the Automotive Multimedia Interface Collaboration, a nonprofit research organization of the world’s largest automakers. Scott was formerly General Electric’s Factory with a Future Program Manager, for both Aircraft Engine and Transportation Systems Divisions, implementing over $1 billion in advanced automation and systems. He has authored numerous publications and books, and holds several patents in machine automation, computer systems, and forensic analysis.
Scott is a former Advisor to the United States National Science Foundation and the Industrial Sector Representative to the US Federal Laboratories Technology Transfer Consortium. He is the founder and Chairman of the International Automotive Standards Organizations Summit, and the former Strategic Advisor to the United Nation’s International Telecommunications Union (ITU-T) Advisory Panel on Communication Standards to Vehicles. Scott presently serves as the Industry Representative to the Transportation Operations Partners Forum for Freight Congestion and Logistics Management, as a Member of the Steering Committee to the Joint Commercial/Military Intelligent Transportation Systems Summit, and as Industry Representative for CVTA to the US ITS Congressional Caucus Industry Advisory Board.
Nicolas Doucet
Director Business Development Telematics, PTV AG
Nicolas Doucet joined PTV AG in May 2005 as business development director for telematics. He oversees the automotive sales and marketing activities of PTV worldwide, and is particularly involved with the strategic positioning of our new technologies PTV RealTimes (predictive travel times). Nicolas has a long experience with the automotive industry and is very familiar with the challenges of mobility and international development.
After graduating from ESCP, a leading Business School in France, Nicolas started his career as a Market Analyst at the French Foreign Trade Center. In 1988 he joined PSA Peugeot Citroen, where he supervised several international projects in finance, sales and business development. From 1995 to 1997 he headed the finance and control department for a $150 million joint-venture between Peugeot and an Indian partner. In 1998 he took the position of an International Sales and Business Development Director, being responsible for 110 clients located principally in Germany, the UK, Norway, Italy, USA, Russia and Cuba.
In 2001, Nicolas joined Webraska as Automotive Sales Director for Europe, and in 2003 he created LIGARE, a company offering services in the field of mobility.
Ralf Duengen
Director Business Development, Connected Services Europe, NAVTEQ
Since May 2004 Ralf DÜNGEN (50) has been responsible for Advanced Business Development in the NAVTEQ In-Vehicle Business Group Europe. He is responsible for the identification and definition of new applications for NAVTEQ digital maps and for setting up customer and partner relationships between NAVTEQ and other parties active in the European automotive market. Ralf previously spent one year with similar responsibilities in NAVTEQ Global Strategic Marketing. From October 2000 to May 2003, he was involved in NAVTEQ sales to the European automotive industry. This included not only car manufacturers, who are supplied direct by NAVTEQ with navigation CDs and DVDs, but also system manufacturers who integrate NAVTEQ map data into their own disks. Ralf's first position with NAVTEQ (July 1999) was Sales Director for Central Europe. Before that he worked in Business Development for GPS and GPS-antennas at AMP M/A-COM -now known as Tyco Electronics. Between 1990 and 1997 Ralf was based in Wiesbaden with the North American Corporation, Motorola. Initially working as Key Account Manager in Motorola's Automotive and Industry Electronics group dealing with a major customer for Automotive-ABS-Electronic, he became involved in GPS and Telematics applications in 1993. With his support, Motorola developed its first applications with GPS-Technology and launched its first Telematics product. Before Motorola, Ralf held different positions in Product Marketing and the European Training Department with the North American semiconductor manufacturer, National Semiconductor. This was based in Fürstenfeldbruck in Germany. Ralf graduated from Duisburg University with a degree in Electronic and Communications Engineering.
Jacques Garcin
Orange Telematics and automotive Director.
Jacques Garcin, born in february 51 is a lawyer and was appointed as general manager of “La Prevention Routière”. He joined the France Telecom group through Mappy, one of its subsidiary (Itineraries , real time traffic, and mapping).
He joined Orange in 1999 in charge of car, travelling and tourism life services.
Peter Kohlschmidt
Peter Kohlschmidt is working in the wireless communication business for more then 15 years. After finishing his master studies at University of Ilmenau, he held various positions in the area of research, hardware and software development at Philips and AT&T Bell Laboratories in the UK. At Lucent Technologies, later Agere Systems, he managed the systems-engineering activities for wireless digital communication.
To experience the dynamics of a start-up company, he joined a smaller company developing wireless LAN solutions as development manager.
After holding a senior management position at BMW in the area of infotainment concept development, he joined Audi 3 years ago.
At Audi, Mr. Kohlschmidt is responsible for the development of acoustic/ sound, connectivity, communication and speech recognition solutions.
Mr. Kohlschmidt holds multiple patents, is author of international publications and speaker at various conferences.

Patrick Minot
Patrick Minot, CESI engineer, spent 16 years as technical director in worldwide groups and mainly PHILIPS Communication and Security Systems then TYCO Integrated Systems.
He started his career as project engineer in security electronics systems then project director and finally technical director managing 40 project engineers, developers and technicians. He participated to the ISO 9000 quality and TQM (Total Quality Management) certification process of Philips Projects organisation.
He directed international teams to carry integrated projects out such as Audio systems for Euro Disneyland theme park in Paris, Security systems in Africa (Zimbabwe and Nigeria) and Digital congress systems for New European Parliament in Strasbourg (France). With Philippe Orvain, he co founded Nomadic Solutions in 2003 developing AVL (Automated Vehicle Location) activity in order to become a major telematics solution provider.
Olyvia Pilo
Olyvia Pilo a créé et développé 3 entreprises depuis sa sortie de la Business School OEC (Hollywood, Californie). Sa première société, Flying Trapeze, devient vite une référence dans le domaine de la formation bureautique. Après l’avoir vendue en 1999, elle parie sur le passage à l'Euro pour développer et commercialiser à travers l'Europe, en collaboration avec ses amis informaticiens, le logiciel Euromonnaie, convertisseur multi devises. Confortée par cette deuxième réussite, et attirée par les technologies de la mobilité, elle rachète une solution de gestion de flotte de taxi pour en faire une entreprise de services de géolocalisation. Aujourd'hui elle dirige Ocean, entreprise d’une trentaine de personnes, en prônant la qualité du service au client et la rigueur de gestion.
Wolfgang Reelitz
Wolfgang Reelitz joined TomTom in January 2006 as Vice President Automotive. His main focus is to further develop the automotive strategy within TomTom for original equipment installations. Prior to working for TomTom, he gained a wealth of experience in sales, engineering and program management for BorgWarner, Dunlop and Pirelli. Wolfgang holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Berufsakademie Mannheim in Germany.
